The Telegraph appoints Knowles head of audio development

David Knowles

The Telegraph has tapped David Knowles to serve as head of audio development. Recently, he held the post of head of social media, a role in which he oversaw platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok and LinkedIn.

Knowles joined The Telegraph in December 2020 as deputy head of social media. Before that, he worked as a social media content production specialist at the World Economic Forum.

He was also a social video journalist at MailOnline.

Knowles has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Durham University and another master’s degree from City, University of London.
