Isaac Crowson, a senior reporter at The Sun, has gone freelance. Initially, he joined The Sun as a general news reporter. He wrote on LinkedIn:
“So, after nearly five years at The Sun, I have handed in my notice. It’s been an incredible experience and changed my life. Now it’s time for a new challenge! This summer marks ten years as a journalist. I now plan to go freelance and explore new options from there. I’m very excited for the future. Please drop me a line with any business opportunities.”
Crowson was among the youngest journalists in the country to cover the war in Ukraine in June 2022 which helped him win the Breakthrough Award at MHP’s 30 To Watch Awards, which celebrate up-and-coming journalists.
Previously, he has held the posts of trainee reporter, senior reporter and crime reporter at Trinity Mirror’s Derby Telegraph.
