Life sciences magazine The Scientist has promoted Amanda Heidt to associate editor after serving as an assistant editor.
Heidt interned at the Science Magazine, the Monterey Herald in California, and Inside Science. She was a science communication fellow at KQED-F 88.5, a NPR member station in San Francisco.
Heidt has a B.S. and a M.S. from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
