The Messenger taps Kaufman as head of sports

Dan Kaufman

Dan Kaufman has joined The Messenger as head of sports. Recently, he was an editorial director at The Athletic.

Before that, Kaufman worked at ESPN for more than nine years. There, he served as deputy editor for Insider and as senior deputy editor for content development.

Kaufman has a B.A. from Harvard University.
