Adrian Carrasquillo has joined The Messenger as a national political reporter to cover the 2024 campaign, swing states and demographics, focused on Latino voters.
Recently, Carrasquillo held the same post at Newsweek, which he joined in April 2020. He was an editor and reporter at New York-based Mediaite, which provides news on the intersection of politics and media.
He held the posts of breaking news reporter, editor of Latino coverage, political reporter and White House correspondent at BuzzFeed News. He worked as a web producer and manager, social media and producer at NBC News.
Carrasquillo has a B.A. in journalism from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
