Joe Middleton has joined The Independent as a senior reporter. He wrote on X/Twitter:

Since October 2020, Middleton had been freelancing. Before that, he was a news reporter at MailOnline, where he worked for more than two years. He was also a senior reporter at Ferrari Press Agency.
He also reported for English regional newspaper the Kent and Sussex Courier.
Middleton has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Reading in England.
