Paul Clements has joined The Independent as a deputy voices editor on the comment desk. Recently, he was a commissioning at UnHerd.
Previously, Clements worked as an associate features editor and then acting features editor at The Mail on Sunday. He also worked at The Telegraph for 15 years, where he held the posts of assistant features editor and features editor.
He also served as deputy chief sub-editor and features editor at Associated Newspapers, one of the U.K.’s largest publishers.
Clements has a B.A. in English literature and language from Queen Mary, U. of London.
