The i Paper names Wheatstone assistant national editor

Richard Wheatstone

The i Paper has appointed Richard Wheatstone as assistant national editor. He joins from News U.K. where he held the post of senior digital news reporter at The Sun.

He was also chief reporter, and online and assistant online news editor at Daily Mirror. He was also a senior reporter at Manchester Evening News and a trainee reporter at Scunthorpe Telegraph. He was also a weekend sports reporter at Westgate Sports Agency.

Wheatstone is a B.A. in journalism, and film and media, and holds a diploma in newspaper journalism from Cardiff University.
