The i Paper has hired Poppy Wood as a reporter. The paper has also appointed Taz Ali as a reporter focusing on foreign coverage.
Ali joins from PA Media where she was a reporter. She has also worked at Archant as a junior reporter – Eastern Daily Press, senior reporter – Eastern Daily Press, and as an investigations reporter. She was also a trainee reporter at Reach.
Ali is a bachelor of laws from Kingston University and holds a NCTJ diploma in journalism.
Hugo Daniel joins as a reporter. He has previously worked at Daily Mail, The Sun, The Telegraph, Daily Express, New York Daily News, The Daily Beast, Mercury, The Herald Sun, News.com.au and The Irish Sun, among others.
Molly Blackall also joins as a reporter. She was previously working freelance for The Guardian where she was also an internee.
Additionally, she has also interned at Daily Mirror, The Telegraph and Camden New Journal. She was also a blogger, deputy online editor and comment editor at The Beaver Newspaper.
Blackall is a M.A. in newspaper journalism from City, University of London.
