Lydia McMullan has taken on the role of head of visuals and data at Guardian News & Media. She has been with The Guardian for more than 10 years.
Recently, McMullan served as a visual projects editor. Since joining in November 2012 as a production assistant, she has held the posts of head of central production and deputy audience editor.
She also worked as a freelance translator and for “World Today” at BBC World Service.
McMullan has a B.A. from the University of Oxford.
