Tess McClure has joined The Guardian as Aotearoa New Zealand correspondent.
Most recently, she was a research associate at the Interdisciplinary Center for Innovative Theory and Empirics (INCITE) at Columbia University.
Before that, she was deputy editor at Vice Media. She has also worked as a digital features producer at Radio New Zealand.
Additionally, she was also a business journalist at Fairfax Media.
McClure is a M.A. in journalism from Columbia University, New York.
