Jennie Milsom joins The Grocer as features editor. Milsom has over 15 years’ experience in consumer and B2B titles covering food and drink, business, travel and the hospitality industry.
Previously, she was a copywriter at Copy Service Please. She has also worked as a freelance editor and journalist for more than 12 years, planning, commissioning and editing features across food, lifestyle and travel publications.
She was also a news reporter at The Caterer writing business-focused news stories, chasing leads, interviewing and doing business analysis for leading national brands across print and online. She was also editor of Boughton’s Coffee House magazine.
Prior to this, Milsom was a freelancer, writing food, lifestyle and travel features, and food styling for a range of publications including the Herald on Sunday Detours, Real, The Auckland Guide, Next and The Healthy Food Guide.
She also wrote and edited features for publications including Caffeine, Coast and The Times, and was involved in recipe development for Abel & Cole and BBC Good Food.
She is also the author of Café Life London (The Armchair Traveller, 2012) and The Cook’s Guide to Meat (Apple, 2009).
Milsom is a graduate of London Guildhall University.
