The Worthington Globe has promoted Dominic Burns to the post of sports editor. His appointment comes as long-time sports editor Doug Wolter retires.

Burns joined The Globe as a reporter and has been mentored by Wolter.

Commenting on his new role, Burns said:

“I’m excited. I think I’ll have a lot of great hands to assist me as I take a bigger role. I feel like I’m being set up for great success, and good sports coverage will continue at The Globe. It’s a great place for all of the area to get sports scores and stories.”
