The Economist Group has named Claudia Malley as president/managing director of its recently formed client solutions business.
Malley will be leading a global team focused on agenda-setting integrated marketing programs that leverage the Economist Group’s unique capabilities, unparalleled global policy and research insights. These efforts will be supported by marketing amplification capabilities.
Malley is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience working at the intersection of purpose and media.
She will be joining the Economist Group from National Geographic where she spent 16 years leading teams that delivered customized programs for a range of Fortune 500 clients. She held numerous roles during her more than 16-year tenure, including publisher, WW publisher/integrated media, EVP – enterprise partnerships, EVP – partner solutions/CMBO, 21st Century Fox and EVP – partner solutions, Disney advertising sales.
She has also served as publisher at Runner’s World and was a sales manager at Ziff-Davis Publishing. She has also worked at WNET New York Public Media.
