Stephanie McCrummen
The Atlantic has tapped Stephanie McCrummen as a staff writer. Recently, she was a staff reporter at The Washington Post.
McCrummen also served as a foreign correspondent covering East and Central Africa. She also served as a metro reporter covering suburban Virginia.
Prior to joining the Post, she was a general assignment reporter at Newsday.
In 2018, McCrummen was a leading member of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting.
McCrummen has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
