Sam Stejskal, a staff writer at The Athletic has left after four years. His tweet reads:
“I’m moving to a job outside of journalism, but I’m so, so thankful for my time at the publication and in this business.
“I’ve been incredibly lucky to have this journey. So many people (too many to list) gave me chances, helped me along, listened to me and cared about my progress out of nothing more than the goodness of their hearts.”
Previously, Stejskal interned at Sports Illustrated and freelanced for the Chicago Tribune.
Stejskal graduated from Northwestern University.
