Terri Ann Glynn will join The Athletic as a newsroom operations director. As per reports:
“This is a big role that will be central to ensuring we continue to empower our journalists with the resources and support you need to deliver exceptional coverage and insights to fans around the world.”
Glynn begins Oct. 16.
She will join from The Athletic’s owner, The New York Times, where she recently served as senior newsroom operations manager. In this role, she managed the Sports, Newsroom Development and News Research desks.
She also oversaw large-scale events including World Cup, Summer and Winter Olympics and Super Bowl. She has worked in administrative roles as well.
Glynn graduated from Marymount Manhattan College.
