The Texas Tribune has hired Alejandra Martinez as an environment reporter. As the announcement reads:
“A native of the Aldine area of Harris County, Alejandra attended the University of Texas at Austin. She’ll be based in Dallas, reporting to Dave Harmon, editor for environment, energy and immigration, and partnering with Erin Douglas, who is focusing on climate change.”
Recently, Martinez was a Dallas accountability reporter at KERA, where she previously served as a Report for America correspondent.
She reported for Public Radio International and was an associate producer at WLRN Public Radio and Television. She was a producer at KUT Public Media and reported for NPR.
