Texas Tribune names Blanchard director of audience

Bobby Blanchard

The Texas Tribune has promoted Bobby Blanchard to the post of director of audience. Previously, she held the post of assistant director for audience.

Blanchard has been with the Texas Tribune for close to five years now and has also served as a social media manager at the paper. Before that, she was a reporting fellow at The Dallas Morning News.

She has interned at the Texas Tribune and the Houston Chronicle.

Blanchard has also worked at The Daily Texan, student newspaper of the University of Texas at Austin.

Additionally, she has also interned at Society of Professional Journalists and KUT Radio. She was also an election stringer at The Associated Press.

Blanchard holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
