Texas Observer reporter Novack departs

Sophie Novack

Sophie Novack, public health reporter at The Texas Observer, has left after almost five years. Novack has also worked freelance and was a fellow and then served as a staff correspondent at the National Journal.

She was a Rediscovering Government blog editor at the Roosevelt Institute in New York and has interned at MISSION.tv, the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Novack has a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
