Matilda Martin, a news reporter at Tes, has taken on the role of senior reporter.
In her new role, Martin will breaking news, exclusives, explainers and engaging features. She will specialize in teacher workforce issues, including strikes, recruitment and retention, as well as well-being, pupil absence and behavior.
Previously, she freelanced for Refinery29, Vice News and The Guardian. She also worked as a news reporter at the South West Londoner.
Martin has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of York.
