Amanda Terkel will join NBC News as a senior politics editor. She begins Nov. 14.
Terkel is an editorial director at HuffPost, where she oversees the national and politics desks and provides strategic guidance across the newsroom about the direction of HuffPost. She has been with HuffPost for more than 12 years.
Before that, she served as Washington bureau chief. She was also a politics managing editor and senior political reporter at HuffPost.
Terkel graduated from Colgate University.
