Tennessee TV station hires Avellino as reporter, anchor

Kelly Avellino

Kelly Avellino has joined WZTV-TV Ch. 17, a Fox and CW station in Nashville, Tenn, as an investigative reporter and weekend anchor.

Recently, Avellino was at WWBT-TV Ch. 12, an NBC affiliate in Richmond, Va., where she worked as a weekend anchor, reporter, multimedia journalist, investigative reporter and “News Before Noon” anchor.

Avellino graduated from Montclair State University in New Jersey and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
