Telemundo Arizona names Mafud anchor

Ana Mafud

Ana Mafud has joined Telemundo 39 as an anchor.

She’ll be co-anchoring the Noticiero Telemundo Arizona weekday newscasts at 5 and 10 pm alongside Octavio Pulido.

She made her on-air debut today.

She replaces Angelica Atondo, who exited the station last year.

Mafud arrives from Televisa-Univision Monterrey in Mexico, where she worked as a news anchor for the past five years.

She was previously a multimedia journalist at Televisa del Golfo in Tamaulipas, Mexico from 2014 to 2017 and also worked as on-air talent for Formula 103.9FM.
