Teen Vogue has promoted Danielle Kwateng as its next executive editor following Alexi McCammond’s resignation, a former pick for the role.
Recently, Kwateng held the post of culture and entertainment director at the company. Prior to that, she was a senior editor at Vice. She was also with Essence Communications Inc. for more than a year, working as an entertainment editor and then as a content producer.
Previously, she was also a contributing writer at Teen Vogue and Racked. She was also a senior editor at Moguldom Media Group and has worked as a reporter at Time Inc. She was also an editorial assistant – Glamour Magazine, Conde Nast Publications.
Kwateng is a B.A. in communications from Howard University and did a publishing course from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
