TechRadar has promoted John McCann to the post of global managing editor where he will oversee the daily running of a global website with teams across 15 countries, 10 languages and 7 time zones.
McCann has been with the company for more than 9 years, joining in 2012. Since then, he has held numerous roles, including phone and tablets writer, phones and tablets deputy editor, phones, wearables and tablets U.K. editor, U.K. phones editor and licensing lead, senior editor for phones and licensing lead, and most recently serving as deputy editor.
Before that, he was a website officer at Campaign for Real Ale and has also worked as a website manager at FantasyStakes.com.
McCann is a graduate of Keele University.
