Sophie Tatum, politics reporter at Grid, has left and joined The Messenger in the same role. She will cover all things politics, with a focus on U.S. House and Senate races.
Previously, she worked as a reporter and producer at ABC News. She covered federal agencies, including Education Department, Health and Human Services and the Department of Homeland Security.
She also worked as a producer for “This Week” and “Good Morning America.”
She worked at CNN as a digital producer and reporter and also previously interned at the network. She also interned at WOWT-TV Ch. 6, an NBC affiliate in Omaha.
Tatum has a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
