Megan A. Taros has joined The New Mexican to do general assignment work and to rebuild the paper’s immigration beat. Previously, Taros was a South Phoenix reporter for the Arizona Republic via Report for America.
Before that, she reported on Latinx issues for the Magic Valley Times-News in Twin Falls, Idaho via Report for America, and for Patch.com and Latin Times.
Taros has a B.A. from San Francisco State University and a M.S. from Columbia University, New York.
