Ariel Plasencia, a reporter at WFAA-TV Ch. 8, an ABC affiliate in Dallas, will leave to join WTVT-TV Ch. 13 in Tampa, Fla., which serves the area’s Fox network, as a reporter.
Previously, Plasencia was a morning reporter/MMJ at WCNC-TV Ch. 36, an NBC station in Charlotte. She worked as a noon anchor and multi-media journalist at WITN-TV Ch. 7, an NBC and MyNetworkTV affiliate in Washington, N.C.
Plasencia has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from Georgetown University.
