Talking Points Memo hires Walker as investigative reporter

Hunter Walker

Talking Points Memo has hired Hunter Walker as an investigative reporter. Walker’s bylines have appeared in The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, New York Magazine, Vanity Fair’s Hive blog, and on Substack.

He was a national correspondent and White House correspondent at Yahoo and served as a politics editor/senior national correspondent at Business Insider. He reported for TPM Media LLC and reported and edited for the New York Observer.

He also reported for TheWrap.com and was an assistant editor for Gridskipper.com at Gawker Media.

Walker co-wrote the New York Times bestseller “The Breach: The Untold Story of the Investigation into January 6th” and is working on another book, tentatively titled “Afterburn,” due in mid-2023.

Walker has a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College Massachusetts and a M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
