The Sun on Sunday has tapped Sophia Sleigh to serve as a political correspondent. Recently, she was a deputy political editor at HuffPost UK. She begins July 18.
Previously, Sleigh worked as a political commentator and newspaper reviewer at GB News. She also was a newspaper reviewer at Times Radio. In three-plus years at the Evening Standard, she held the posts of news reporter, City Hall reporter, political reporter, and political correspondent. She also reported for the Daily Mirror and Newsquest.
She interned at Express Newspapers and Immediate Media Co.
Sleigh graduated from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
