The Washington Post has hired Jack Stripling as an investigative reporter to cover higher education. Stripling begins Dec. 5.
Stripling will join from the Chronicle of Higher Education, where he worked for more than 11 years, recently as a senior writer. He also reported for Inside Higher Ed, The Gainesville Sun and Opelika-Auburn News in Alabama.
Stripling has a bachelor’s degree in English from Florida State University and a master’s degree in English literature from Auburn University.
