Stokols joins Politico as a White House reporter

Eli Stokols

Politico has hired Eli Stokols to serve on the White House team and to help helm the West Wing Playbook newsletter. He begins Oct. 31.

Recently, Stokols was a White House reporter for the Los Angeles Times. He was a political analyst at MSNBC and a White House reporter at The Wall Street Journal. He also served at Politico from April 2015 to March 2017, holding the post of national politics reporter.

Stokols has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
