STV News has hired Kirsty Stewart as an assistant producer. Recently she worked at Deadline News for more than eight years.
During this time, Stewart held the posts of journalist, deputy news editor and managing editor. Previously, she worked at the Edinburgh Evening News.
Stewart graduated from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.
