Jemma Stephenson has joined the States Newsroom in Alabama as a statewide education reporter. Recently, she was a children and education reporter at the Montgomery Advertiser, part of the USA Today Network.
Stephenson interned at the Tennessean, Digital Insurance and Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Stephenson has a bachelor’s degree from Smith College and an M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
