Star-Tribune taps Orrick to cover Minneapolis City Hall

Dave Orrick

Dave Orrick will join the Minneapolis Star-Tribune to cover City Hall. Currently, Orrick is a state government and politics reporter at the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

In 16 years at the Pioneer Press, Orrick has held the posts of outdoors editor, web producer and St. Paul City Hall reporter. Before that, he reported for the Daily Herald in suburban Chicago and the Post-Tribune in Merrillville, Ind.

Orrick has a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from Northwestern University.
