Lucy Haggard, a staff writer covering the pandemic, higher education, environmental justice, wildfires, the census, and more at the Colorado Sun, is leaving.
Before joining the Sun, Haggard was a news intern at KGNU Community Radio. She has also interned at Daily Camera and the Colorado Independent.
Haggard has also served as a jazz music director and then as a news director at Radio 1190. She was also a contributor to Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition.
Haggard holds a bachelor’s degree in human geography and journalism from University of Colorado Boulder where she also worked at the student newspaper.
