Sports Illustrated hires Casselberry as breaking news writer

Ian Casselberry

Ian Casselberry has taken on the role of breaking news writer at Sports Illustrated. He wrote on X/Twitter:

“Grateful for such an opportunity in the current sports media industry and eager to work with the great team being assembled.”

Casselberry has worked as a columnist at Barrett Sports Media in North Carolina and contributed to Saga Communications in the Greater Ashville area.

He also contributed to Sports Illustrated, Heavy, Yahoo, SB Nation and MLive.com.

Casselberry graduated from the University of Iowa.
