Sports Illustrated has named Mark Pesavento executive editor of digital. Since February 2019, he has been working as a media consultant.
Previously, Pesavento served as vice president, digital content at NFL Media. He also held VP posts at Fox Sports Digital and USA Today Sports Media Group.
He served as senior editor, assistant managing editor and managing editor, blogs at Yahoo Sports. He also worked at The Los Angeles Times for six years.
He interned at the Chicago Tribune.
Pesavento has a B.A. in English and journalism from Miami University in Ohio.
