Previously, Spoerre interned for and was a courts reporter at The Des Moines Register. She also interned at the Chicago Tribune, The Oregonian/OregonLive.com, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Journal Star.
Spoerre has a B.S. in journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
