Anna Staver has joined as an on-air contributor at Spectrum News 1, where she provides in-depth analysis of weekly political events for Spectrum’s nightly news. Staver will continue in her role as a statehouse reporter for USA Today Gannett’s Ohio bureau.
She was a politics reporter at The Denver Post and worked at KUSA-TV Ch. 9, an NBC affiliate in Denver, Colo. She was a county/city reporter at the Idaho Press-Tribune and was a state politics reporter at the Statesman Journal in Oregon.
She interned at The Huffington Post and freelanced for Patch.com.
Staver graduated from Kent State University in Ohio.
