Spectrum News 1 journalist Cangro set to depart

Jaclyn Cangro, a reporter and video journalist at Spectrum News 1 Albany, has announced her departure. Her tweet reads:

“This is my last week on air. After 6 years with @SpecNews1Albany and a decade in news, I’m onto a new adventure.

“Thank you so much to everyone who’s trusted me with their stories. It’s meant the world to me. I hope we’ve made a difference. More details soon.”

Cangro is an award-winning and Emmy-nominated multimedia journalist who serves as an evening anchor and news reporter at WVII-TV Ch. 14, an ABC and Fox affiliate in Bangor, Maine. Also in Bangor, she worked with WXFX-LD Ch. 22, a low-power station broadcasting Fox and MyNetwork programs.

Cangro graduated from Emerson College.
