Cal Lundmark has joined the Post and Courier in South Carolina as managing editor. Recently, she was an audience development editor at McClatchy, where she worked since February 2019, starting as editor of audience growth and retention.
In this role, she supervised a team of audience growth specialists across ten McClatchy newsrooms in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Mississippi. These included the Charlotte Observer, Raleigh News & Observer, The State and The Sun Herald.
She also worked at The State Newspaper in Columbia, S.C. as a social media editor, regional audience growth producer and deputy regional growth editor.
She held the posts of video editor and social editor at Arizona PBS.
Lundmark has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound in Washington and a master’s degree from Arizona State University.
