Snyder departs CQ Roll Call for Politico

Alec Snyder

Alec Snyder will be joining Politico Pro as a legislative compass reporter.

He begins his new role on April 19.

Currently, Snyder is a committees reporter at CQ Roll Call. Previously, he has worked freelance for CNN and was a growth and development reporter at The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette in South Carolina.

He has also worked as a freelance business and politics staff writer at MediaFile in Washington, D.C. He has also interned at CBS News and WJLA-TV, an ABC-affiliated TV station.

Snyder holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from George Washington University.
