Slate has hired Narda Pérez as a senior audience engagement editor. Previously, she was an audience development strategist at Wirecutter.
Pérez interned at and then joined the staff full time as an audience journalist at The Dallas Morning News. She was a web producer at the Austin American-Statesman.
Pérez graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she held various editorial roles at the student paper.
