Amy Borrett has joined Sky News as a data journalist.
Previously, she held the same post at The New Statesman where she produced data-driven features for the business and technology sections.
There, she also helped launch and grow a new technology vertical, Tech Monitor, as the regular contributing data journalist.
Borrett was also a tech fellow at Business Insider and was sub-editor at Sifted.
She has also interned at Investors Chronicle and Financial Times. She was also one of the 50 chosen to attend the inaugural 3-day Financial Times Talent Challenge.
Borrett also served as an economics editor at The Cambridge Globalist.
Borrett is a B.A. in economics from University of Cambridge, where she also worked at the economics society. She is also a Marjorie Deane Foundation Scholar on the Financial Journalism M.A. at City University.
