Tom Rayner has been named digital politics editor at Sky News.
Rayner is a veteran Sky News journalist having held numerous roles, including Middle East news editor, Meddle East reporter, South East Asia correspondent and political correspondent.
He has also held the posts of home affairs producer, field producer, deputy program editor and deputy executive producer – politics at the network. Before that, he worked at the BBC and ITV.
Rayner is a B.A. in modern history from the University of Oxford and holds a postgraduate diploma in television and current affairs journalism from City University London.
