Ambika Sharma has joined The Athletic as an associate editor, NHL. Recently, Sharma was a content editor for Backdesk at The Globe and Mail.
She was a radio digital production assistant at CBC/Radio-Canada and worked freelance for The Hockey News, where she also interned. She was a fact checker for the Ryerson Review of Journalism and a sports reporter at Varsity Publications Inc.
Sharma has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto Mississauga and a master’s degree from Toronto Metropolitan University.
