SF Chronicle to lay off eight staff members

As per the San Francisco Chronicle Guild’s post on X/Twitter, the newsroom is planning on laying off eight staff members.

The post reads:

“We are devastated to learn of management’s decision to lay off eight talented members of our newsroom, including six Guild members, from the Chronicle’s SFNext team and audio team.”
