Lisa Gartner will be joining the San Francisco Chronicle to oversee investigations and narrative projects in September, reports Politico.
Gartner will be joining from the Philadelphia Inquirer where she worked as investigative reporter. Previously, Gartner was with Tampa Bay Times for more than five years, joining as education reporter and then serving as enterprise reporter.
She has also served as education reporter at the Washington Examiner and was a writing fellow at Village Voice Media.
Gartner has a B.S. in journalism and psychology from Northwestern University.
